Elle melle
“Elle melle” is the first line in a Norwegian counting rhyme, associated with children playing and having fun together. This cardigan is a versatile garment, for play or party, to keep the child warm. The front and back are filled with soft, lovely ridges, while the sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch to make the garment slim enough to be worn under a jacket, and at the same time give room for movement. The body is worked from the bottom up, while the sleeves are attached and worked from the top down using short rows, without any seaming. The garment is shown in size 6 years.
