Long, fitted, elegant gloves with a slouchy hat to go with them. The sculpturesque stitch pattern adds texture and goes well with the plain stockinette stitch on fingers and palm. A twisted rib on both hat brim and inside of wrist adds up to the elegant touch.
Sizes: Woman’s M (L), where size M corresponds to glove size 7 (18 cm) around the knuckles of the hand, as size L corresponds to glove size 7.5 (19 cm)
Materials: About 80 (90) g of Superwash, 100 % worsted wool, 300 m per 100 g skein.
Needles: Short circulars and a set of dpns size 3.0 – or the size you need to get gauge, and circulars 0.5 mm smaller.
Gauge: 31 sts and 51 rows = 10 cm in stockinette st with smaller needles.
Techniques required: knit, purl, increasing, decreasing, picking up sts, cable knitting.
