Angle
With sideways elasticity, Angle is a baby cardigan made to fit the baby for a long time. It is available in sizes 6, 12 and 24 months, and will look equally good on boys and girls. The contrast color adds interest to the stripes, and attitude to the baby. The cardigan is worked sideways in one piece. The shoulder seams are grafted using Kitchener Stitch, which results in a totally invisible seam. Directions for all techniques used are given in the pattern.
Sizes: 6 (12, 24) months – chest width 50 (52, 56) cm
Materials: 100 (110, 140) g of Ask 100 % woolen wool in main color (MC), 40 (50, 60) g in contrast color 1 (CC1) and 15 (20, 25) g in contrast color 2 (CC2). You will also need 1 button (not included in the kit).
Needles: Circulars of appropriate length and a set of dpns size 3.5 mm – or the size you need to get gauge, and a circular half a mm smaller.
Gauge: 23 sts and 57 rows = 10 cm in ridge pattern
